This cushion is made up of a beautifully soft silk velvet front panel with a 100% cotton reverse and zip fastening. The velvet is individually hand dyed using an ancient Japanese method called shibori. Each piece is unique.
 
The cushion pictured is the actual cushion for sale. The dyes I create are made up of multiple colours and sometimes suprise markings appear from the hand dyeing process. This cushion has an ever so slight yellow mark at the top right which is visible in the second photograph.
